LANVIN – Behind the scenes 2013-2018
De 2011 à 2018, Jean-Christophe a filmé les shootings photo des collections Lanvin, pour montrer aux clients de la marque les coulisses de ces moments qui font rêver le public mais qui sont souvent très répétitifs et fastidieux. Accompagné de son binôme Séverine, à la prise de son, il a eu la liberté de proposer des films intimistes qui ne sont pas seulement focalisés sur les produits mais font la part belle aux ambiances et aux relations entre les protagonistes : directeur artistique, mannequins et photographe. Alber Elbaz détestait la caméra et le micro qui lui tournaient autour, mais il s’était progressivement habitué à cet œil de Moscou, comme il disait en plaisantant.

Fall 2018
Les conditions n’étaient pas idéales ce jour-là. Collier, la photographe, ne souhaitait pas être filmée, ce qui compliquait forcément la réalisation d’un film behind the scenes. Une réserve que je comprends parfaitement : j’aurais moi-même beaucoup de mal à être filmé en plein travail.
Heureusement, Birgit a joué le jeu. Grâce à elle, j’ai pu réunir les images nécessaires à ce film — sans doute pas le meilleur, mais auquel je reste attaché. Avec le recul, j’en garde finalement un très bon souvenir.
